Description:
User research in a mobile environment requires diverse approaches depending on different aspects of the research. At the same time, those different approaches should be integrated in a single large system under which each approach works together by complementing each other¡¯s strengths. The presentation introduces and demonstrates the integrated deign system for user research in mobile environment which HCIDL (Human-Centered Interaction Design Lab) at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology developed: four tools for integrated coverage of three stages of product development life cycle and to satisfy the requirements of new methods for the mobile environment. Those tools include: MOA (Mobile Observation Analyzer), Wi-Pro (Wish Prototyper), RUTIA (Remote Usability Testing for Information Appliances), and IMOLO (Interactive Mobile Logger).
