- Qifeng Yan
Date: Nov 3
Time Frame:15:15-15:45
Description:
Most of current interaction systems are based on psychological
and social models drawn from the European and American research
traditions. However, it has been found that the models are not
always applicable because users from other cultures especially
Eastern cultures have different ways of thinking and perception
of information. This presentation will mention some cultural
dimensions in user experience design and some design related
cultural differences between Eastern and Western markets.
