Time Frame:9:00-12:00

Description:
Bringing an easy to use product experience in both hardware and software design to the market place requires much more than just the successful completion of iterative design and usability testing methods. It requires specific management skills on the part of the UCD leader to align the complete corporate agenda towards the "ease of use goal". Without this organizational alignment, which involves taking a 360 degree approach with all the stakeholders in the product production ecosystem the best ideas and intent will fail. Mr. Rosenberg has one of the longest tenures as an executive focused on running User Experience organizations in high tech industries with over 20 years leading the UI teams at successful companies such as Borland, Oracle and SAP. This presentation will provide an in depth program designed for current managers and leaders of UI teams as well as individuals that aspire to a leadership role in the UCD process within industry. Through this workshop you will acquire an understanding of the missing elements as well as an additional set of tools required to create the infrastructure within your organization to ensure your success as a UCD practitioner.
Among the dimensions that will be covered are:
- Managing creative UCD teams, how to define job skills, build the team, manage, mentor and grow the skills of multidisciplinary teams comprised of engineers, designers, visual artists and physiologists.
