Participants will be introduced to the benefit that can be obtained by applying recent ISO standards for usability and user centred design., which are derived from the original ISO 9241-11 standard for usability and the ISO 13407 standard for human centred design.  These include ISO 25062 Common Industry Format for usability test reports, the draft Common Industry Specification for Usability Requirements, ISO 20282 Ease of operation of everyday products, IEC 62508 Guidance on human aspects of dependability, ISO 18529 Human-centred lifecycle processes descriptions, and ISO 18152 A specification for the process assessment of human-system issues.
