As user centered design professionals, we are constantly placed in the position of needing to persuade others with our design and user research recommendations.  During this workshop, participants will be introduced to and learn how to apply the techniques of heuristic and competitive evaluation to further bolster their user experience findings.  In addition, we will also explore the implications of using this technique with projects/products that serve an international audience. -- Dr. Chen Zhao and Richard Douglass
