Amit Pande is a User Experience manager with Oracle. Since starting the India practices for PeopleSoft and Oracle in 2004 he has been responsible for design and usability innovations across application products. Prior to Oracle, Amit consulted on design and business strategy with SupportSoft, HP, CKS Consulting and India’s first rural e-governance project. He has also worked as a researcher at the Decision Support Systems Lab in Minneapolis.

Amit is Founder and President of UPA Bangalore and has organized several events in India including the Doors of Perception conferences, ACM SIGCHI, and World Usability Day.

Amit has Masters and Bachelors degrees in Engineering from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, USA and the National Institute of Technology, India. His interests lie at the intersection of design, technology and business innovation.
