Ji-Ye Mao (Ph.D, University of British Columbia,1995) is a Professor and Associate Dean in the School of Business, Renmin University of China. Prior to his current appointment, he has taught at the University of Waterloo in Canada and was tenured in 2000, and the City University of Hong Kong. In addition, he was a Visiting Scientist at the IBM Toronto Lab (User-Centred Design Lab, 2000-2001). His areas of research include user participation in the design and adoption of information systems, human-computer interaction (HCI), IT outsourcing management, and e-Commerce. His research has appeared in Communications of the ACM, Journal of MIS, and major HCI journals. He is on the editorial board of several leading international journals.
