Fu Zhiyong is an associate professor and the vice director of Department of Information Art and Design, Academy of Arts and Design, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. He received his Bachelor of science on Engineering degree from Wuhan University of Technology, in July, 1993, and received his MA degree in July, 1996 and his PHD degree in Dec, 2004 from Tsinghua University. During January to April 1998, he was a corporate researcher of Project of Kansei Evaluation in Tsukuba University, Japan.

His research interests include interaction design, industrial design, digital entertainment design and digital media art. He is a member of Program for New Century Excellent Talents in University, China, 2006, and now in charge of ministry of education's general project: Digital Entertainment Design Education and Fostering talented personnel with Comprehensive Knowledge in Multiversity,Tsinghua University's project: Research on Interaction Design for the Immaterial Culture Heritage
