Cortney Johnson is the Global Head of HSBC User Centered Design and manages the strategic direction for all UCD teams based in the United States, Canada, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom and India. Johnson is a passionate advocate for user centered design principles and has successfully grown the team's global scope and influence. Cortney has spent the last 8 years building and leading international UCD teams for high technology companies including VERITAS Software and Symantec Software, where she was instrumental in driving the adoption of user research engineering across the product development lifecycle. Cortney has a dual degree in Computer Engineering & Human Factors Psychology Engineering from Embry Riddle University in Daytona Beach, Florida.
