Jason comes from the background of Computer Science, he got his Master Degree in Human Communication and Computing in University of Bath, UK. He founded UPA China as the 1st non-profit usability organization in China in April, 2004 and was elected as President in 2005. In the past 3 years, Jason organized User Friendly 2004,2005 and 2006 and has led the team to make both UPA China and User Friendly the 2 well-known brands in the Asia-Pacific Usability community. In 2007, he was nominated as Director of UPA Board.

In terms of Jason's usability career life, after he graduated from UK, he started his 1st job as Interaction Designer in a smart phone design house in Shanghai in 2003 then built up the UX Design center. He worked there until bankruptcy. In 2005, he helped HFI found HFI China in Shanghai and became Managing Director of China, he led the team to win many clients like SAP, Microsoft, Huawei, Haier, Samsung, KAIST, etc. In May, 2007, he left HFI China and founded TANG Consulting as one of the best usability consulting and training companies in China, he has offices in Beijing ,Shanghai and Guangzhou.
