Jon Innes is the Director of Augmentum’s User Experience Practice where he oversees UI design and research for a variety projects on diverse set of platforms ranging from mobile devices to Web 2.0 sites. Jon is an internationally known speaker on the topic of user experience strategy and management. Hundreds of user experience professionals have attended his tutorials and workshops at venues such as the annual conferences for the Association for Computing Machinery’s Computer-Human Interaction society and the Usability Professional’s Association. Jon has been working on the design of software, websites, and consumer electronics for nearly 15 years for some of the biggest names in high technology including IBM, Symantec, Oracle, Cisco, Siebel, and Intuit. His most recent publications include a book chapter on introducing user-centered design processes in “User-Centered Design Stories: Real-World UCD Case Studies” and an article on innovation management for Interactions magazine. He holds a Masters degree in Engineering Psychology and is a member of UPA, HFES, and ACM CHI/BayCHI.
