Julian Richards is a Senior Manager with HSBC’s User Centered Design team and leads the Vancouver office. Richards coordinates many of UCD’s international efforts including global research into staff-facing applications in Branch and Call Centre contexts.  Before joining HSBC he was a Manager of Interaction Architecture with web design agency Blast Radius, where he was responsible for user-interaction on sites for clients such as Nike, Nintendo and Heineken. Prior to this Julian was a manager with professional services firm KPMG’s Knowledge Management division. Richards has a Masters in Library and Information Studies and a B.A. in English Literature from the University of British Columbia.
