Kevin Lee is currently Interaction Design Lead for Global Consumer Design at Whirlpool Corporation, the global consumer appliance market leader. In this capacity Kevin is responsible with managing and leading the design team of interaction designers, usability, and visual designers in developing useful, usable, and desirable consumer products for Whirlpool, Kenmore, Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, and Amana brand in North America. He is also leading the integration and execution of the corporate design strategy within the product development to accelerate the global product market leadership.
Prior to joining Whirlpool Corporation Kevin Lee was User-Centered Design Lead at GE Healthcare. At GE Healthcare, Kevin managed design and usability working groups across the company and formalized the UCD process while delivered products that received high marks from the industry for excellence in design and usability. Kevin was also instrumental in integrating the observational research as an integral part of the marketing toolkit for GE Healthcare.
Kevin has more than ten years of industry experience in the domain of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, and Web design. Kevin Lee has Masters degree in HCI from Carnegie Mellon University and currently serves UPA as conference committee.
