Liam Friedland is Director of User Experience at Informatica. He and his team are responsible for the usability methodologies, UI design processes, standards, and specifications of Informatica's developer, analyst, and on-demand products lines.
Prior to joining Informatica, Liam founded and ran UxStudio, a User Experience consultancy whose clients included: SAP, Coverity, Good Technology, and Jasper Systems. Previous corporate positions included roles as the Ux Architect for Westbridge Technology, Management positions at Siebel Systems and Microsoft, as well as Principal Design roles at Oracle and Borland.
Liam is an internationally known speaker in the area of user experience strategy, and offshore development of user interfaces. He regularly presents talks and tutorials at international conferences such as UPA, and CHI, and has also authored several publications in the HCI field.
