He had his advanced study in Germany after graduating from Central College of Arts and Technic, (former name of Academy of Arts & Design Tsinghua University). He is one of the Chinese first generation who went to western countries to learn the mordern design. Prof. Xiaobo Lu participated and established the China Mordern Industrial Design Education system.
