Jason Huang

President, DDF.UPA China & Designer of User Friendly Conferences
Jason co-founded UPA China as the 1st non-profit usability organization in China in April, 2004 and was elected as President in 2005. In the past 4 years, Jason organized User Friendly 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008, and has led the team to make both UPA China and User Friendly the well-known brands in the Asia-Pacific Usability community. In 2007, he was nominated as Member of UPA International Director Board.
In 2005, he helped the largest global usability consulting company found the China office in Shanghai and became Managing Director; He led the team to win many clients like SAP, Microsoft, Huawei, Haier, Samsung, KAIST, etc. In 2007, he founded his own local Chinese consulting company named TANG Consulting. Currently, he is leading a 20-employee team located in Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou.
Jason studied Computer Science in Southeast University, China and then got his Master degree in HCI in UK.
Jason's dream is that “UPA China will be the communication platform of choice for user experience practitioners in both the east and west, and that TANG Consulting be a force for product innovation for China.” |

Maggie Ying

Vice President, DDF.UPA China
Maggie joined DDF.UPA China in 2004 and was one of the organizers since the 1st User Friendly conference in 2004. She is a Member of UPA Global Advisory Committee. In the past 4 years, Maggie organized World Usability Day in China ,since 2005.Maggie Ying has been working in Human Resources for about 6 year, was the manager of the HR team in Lexmark International, and also the member of the Human Resources Association for Chinese & Foreign Enterprises. Beijing. Maggie got the master degree from Beijing Business and Technology University.
Maggie’s dream is “do my best to provide the learning, development and growing platform for all members.” |

Mike Wang

Vice President, DDF.UPA China
Mike Wang has been working in the user experience industry for around 9 years. Mike is the director of the UX department in Augmentum. Prior to Augmentum, Mike Wang has worked with such companies as Tsinghua Tongfang, Jiulong Technology, Simcom. He is very experienced in the field of User Experience of handheld device, the application software and website.
Mike has been the vice president of DDF.UPA China since 2005 and is one of the members of the core team of the group that is organizing the User Friendly conferences. |

Xin Chen graduated from the Hunan University. Xin has been working as a user interface designer for 3 years and is now an Interaction designer.Xin Chen joined DDF.UPA China in 2006 and now is member of the organizing team for User Friendly 2007 conference. |

Renee Zhang

Director of Business Development, DDF.UPA China
Renee received her bachlor degree in the Psychology department of Shanghai Teacher University and then got the master degree in Quality management from Hongkong Techonology Institute.
Renee has been working as a user and product researcher in Erricson for 3 years and then build the user experience team and work as the director of the team in Tivo. In 2005, Renee is the project director of a Professional User Experience Consultant company in China.
Renee joined DDF.UPA China in 2006 and has been leading the Publich Relationship Comittee since then. |

Ronggang Zhou

Director of Publications, DDF.UPA China
Ronggang Zhou received his PHD in Human Factors and Engineering Psychology from Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2005. Currently, he is working as a researcher and consultant in the field of human factors and ergonomics. Dr. Zhou was a usability engineer at one famous telecommunication company in China. Also, he is the principal of UPA China Beijing Chapter.

Denny Huang is Director of Membership Services of DDF.UPA China and project manager of Tang Consulting. He got the master degree of engineer psychology from Zhejiang University. Denny has worked in the field of user experience in the past 3 years, his work involves user research & evaluation, interaction design and developing UX driven software development process.

Xin.Li graduated from the Jilin Engineering and Technology College of Art in 2000, and she has worked in the field of UX for 8 years. She has worked with such companies as Tsinghua Tongfang company as a UI designer. Now, she is working in Bokesoft company as an UE manager. Joining in DDF.UPA China in 2004, since then, she has been organizing and designing User Friendly conference’s web and the Association’s web. Xin. Li is responsible for the financial operations of DDF.UPA China.

Alan Van graduated from Southeast University and majoring in computer science, senior software engineer in finance, now is responsible for technical supporting and resource management. As a member joined in UPA earlier, I supported the association and the conference efficiently .It is meaningful for me to work together with so many friends with the common goal.
