Innovation is more than a brilliant idea. Innovation is all the little ideas that lead up to and then follow from the "brilliant idea" that most people think of as "the innovation." Innovation requires work and some of that work is what we do as user-centered design specialists. With stories and examples from around the world, we will see how user research and evaluation contribute to innovative ideas and innovative designs.
