Asian youth represent the burgeoning aspirations of this region. Their value system, habits, preference, behavior, language usage and consumption patterns are starkly different from their parents and grand parents generation. However they are not divorced from their cultural roots and pride them selves in a distinctly regional identity. This generational shift in attitudes is all the more important because this group has an ever expanding wallet.
Their sheer size, spending power, technology savviness and could do attitude have made them the favorite of product and service companies.
However experiences in the last decade show that traditional user research methods and techniques need to be modified to capture the essence of this generation of power users.
This talk will explore insights, lessons-learnt, innovative techniques that have been developed my usability practitioners of this region to address challenges of working with the young.
Attend Sushmita’s interative session. Where she shares experiences from the field, her point of view on techniques and insights about the future of user research in Asia.
