Online forms are everywhere – for registration, purchasing, giving feedback.
Forms are also frustrating! People make mistakes, provide incorrect information, or avoid using them entirely.
Designing good forms requires an understanding of how people think about questions, about the relationship they have with the organisation requesting the inforamtion, and of course about visual treatment.
This workshop will provide particpants with a solid knowledge of how to design good online forms.
Topics covered inlcude:
• Understanding how people use forms
• Using forms to establish a relationship with your users
• Writing questions that people can answer
• Layout issues.
• Testing forms for usability.
Audience
This hands-on session is aimed at anyone involved in design of online forms or applications.

Lecture, group discussion, and small group hands-on exercises.
